Dear Community Members,
The Members of Gearhart Fire are proud to announce their 58th Annual Fundraiser at the Gearhart Station (670 Pacific Way) on Saturday, May 25th from 8:00 pm until midnight.
All the traditional games, entertainment, and refreshments will be available. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
All funds generated by the fundraiser will go towards programs we sponsor and projects benefiting the service we provide the community. Some of these include our smoke detector program, safety & tsunami brochures, our Fire Prevention/Public Education programs at the Gearhart Grade School & local daycare facilities and firefighter safety & education programs. These projects are completely funded by your donations and delivered by our firefighters.
A large project we have currently undertaken is the replacement of our AED’s (automatic external defibrillator) and Monitor/Defibrillators. This equipment is critical in saving lives. Our current models are at the age of replacement. We hope to complete this goal and replace our current models within the next 3 to 5 years.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. If you wish to see firsthand what your donations have provided, we would be happy to take you on a tour of the equipment. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and will help maintain the quality services provided by your Gearhart Volunteer Fire Department.
