Dear Community Members,

The Gearhart Volunteer Fire Association is pleased to announce our Annual Firefighter’s Ball, which will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 8:00 PM.

Enclosed you will find two admission tickets, generously provided by the volunteers of the Gearhart Fire Department. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the door on the evening of the event. We sincerely hope you will join us for this special evening of community and celebration.

Your favorite Gearhart Fire apparel is available year-round through our online store at www.gearhartfire.com/store. We will also offer in-person sales of our newest merchandise at the Firefighter’s Ball and during our annual 4th of July celebration. To avoid shipping fees, simply select “In-Person Pickup” at checkout.

This year, our primary goal is to replace and upgrade essential equipment to maintain and enhance the high level of service we proudly provide. Funds raised will also support the purchase of training props, personal protective equipment (PPE), volunteer training opportunities, and team-building exercises that strengthen our operational readiness and cohesion as a department. These investments ensure our volunteers remain well trained, properly equipped, and fully prepared to serve our community safely and effectively.

Thanks to the generous support of our community through last year’s donations, we were able to invest directly in the safety and preparedness of our department. Your contributions helped us purchase a forcible entry door prop — a critical hands-on training tool that allows our firefighters to safely and realistically practice entry techniques. In addition, your support funded new equipment and expanded training opportunities, enabling our members to sharpen their skills, strengthen their readiness, and better serve the citizens of our community.

Your continued support makes a measurable difference in our ability to protect lives and property. We are truly grateful for your commitment to keeping our community safe.

If you have any questions, please contact the station at (503) 738-7838. If you would like to see firsthand how your contributions support our department, we would be happy to provide a station tour.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or visit www.gearhartfire.com for the latest updates on fire prevention, burn permits, the future fire station, and other community information.

Thank you again for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the Firefighter’s Ball!

Sincerely, Gearhart Volunteer Fire Association
